Riyaz ul Jannah| RAWDAH Sharif at Masjid an -Nawabi🕌

A visit to Madinah is a special experience for Muslims, filled with peace, devotion, and a deep love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Among the most cherished places inside Masjid an-Nabawi is Riyaz ul Jannah, also known as Rawdah Sharif, a sacred area that holds a unique place in the hearts of Muslims around the world.

Our family’s visit to this blessed mosque became one of the most memorable moments of our journey in Madinah. From the quiet hours of the early morning to the long-awaited opportunity to enter Riyaz ul Jannah, every moment brought a renewed sense of gratitude and spiritual connection.

Beginning the Day with Tahajjud and Fajr

The day began at around 4 AM with Tahajjud prayer, followed by Fajr at Masjid an-Nabawi. The peaceful atmosphere of the mosque during the early morning hours made the experience even more meaningful. Surrounded by worshippers, we took time to pray, reflect, and thank Allah for granting us the opportunity to visit this blessed city.

There was a beautiful sense of calm throughout the morning, giving us time to prepare spiritually for the special visit ahead.

Receiving the Nusuk Permit

One of the important steps before visiting Riyaz ul Jannah was obtaining our entry permit through the Nusuk platform. After receiving our permit at around 2 PM, we were finally able to proceed with our planned visit.

For many pilgrims, entering this special area is a long-awaited moment. The permit process requires planning, patience, and following the current arrangements for visitors. When our opportunity arrived, the excitement was accompanied by a profound feeling of thankfulness.

Experiencing the Beauty of Riyaz ul Jannah

Riyaz ul Jannah is one of the most revered areas within Masjid an-Nabawi. The name means “Garden of Paradise,” reflecting its special significance in Islamic tradition.

Being present in this blessed space was a deeply emotional experience. The atmosphere encouraged quiet reflection, heartfelt dua, and sincere worship. It was a moment to pause from the busyness of everyday life and focus on faith, seeking Allah’s mercy and blessings.

For Muslims who travel from different parts of the world to visit Madinah, the opportunity to pray here is often a treasured part of their spiritual journey.

Visiting Rawdah Sharif Near the Prophet’s Chamber

Another unforgettable part of our visit was being near Rawdah Sharif, in the vicinity of the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ resting place. The experience brought a powerful sense of humility and gratitude.

Masjid an-Nabawi is not only an architectural wonder but also a place deeply connected to the history of Islam and the life of the Prophet ﷺ. Standing in this sacred environment reminded us of the importance of following his teachings, strengthening our faith, and sending blessings upon him.

Words cannot fully express the emotions associated with such a visit. It was a moment we will always remember as a family.
