Then the sun began its slow descent.
At first, the sky appeared golden. Within minutes, the colors became deeper and more dramatic. Orange blended into pink, while crimson tones appeared closer to the horizon. The volcanic rocks around me caught the final rays of daylight, creating an extraordinary contrast between the dark landscape and the glowing sky.
It felt less like watching a normal sunset and more like witnessing the landscape being transformed in real time.

During the day, the volcano feels powerful and rugged. At sunset, it becomes almost peaceful.

It was a reminder that adventure isn’t always about reaching the destination as quickly as possible. Sometimes, the best part is having enough time to stop and appreciate where you are.
