Jumu’ah at Rawdah: My Best Day in Madinah During Hajj 2026

Jumu'ah prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi during Hajj 2026 in Madinah, Saudi Arabia

Every day in Madinah is a blessing, but some days become unforgettable memories that stay with you forever. During my Hajj 2026 journey, one of those special days was my Jumu’ah at Masjid an-Nabawi. From praying Tahajjud before dawn to visiting Rawdah (Riyadul Jannah), performing Jumu’ah prayer, and unexpectedly meeting a relative from my hometown in Bangladesh, this day was filled with countless blessings from Allah.

In this article, I share my experience and hope it inspires anyone preparing for Hajj or Umrah.

Beginning the Day with Tahajjud and Fajr Prayer

My day started long before sunrise as I made my way to Masjid an-Nabawi for Tahajjud prayer. The peaceful atmosphere inside the Prophet’s Mosque was unlike anything I had ever experienced.

Listening to the beautiful Fajr Adhan inside one of Islam’s holiest mosques brought tears to my eyes. Standing shoulder to shoulder with Muslims from every corner of the world reminded me that we are all united in worshipping Allah.

Starting the day in prayer gave me peace, gratitude, and strength for everything that followed.

Breakfast at ZamZam Pullman Madinah

After Fajr prayer, I returned to the ZamZam Pullman Madinah Hotel for breakfast.

The hotel is only a short walk from Masjid an-Nabawi, making it a convenient place for pilgrims who want to attend all five daily prayers without long travel.

While enjoying breakfast, I reflected on how fortunate I was to be spending these blessed days in Madinah after waiting nearly two years for this journey.

Walking to Masjid an-Nabawi for Jumu’ah Prayer

As the time for Jumu’ah approached, I walked back toward Masjid an-Nabawi.

The streets surrounding the mosque were alive with pilgrims arriving from around the world. Despite the large crowds, everyone shared the same purpose—to worship Allah and seek His mercy.

The green dome of Masjid an-Nabawi came into view, filling my heart with happiness and gratitude.

Every step toward the mosque felt like a blessing.

Experiencing the Blessed Jumu’ah Prayer

Performing Jumu’ah prayer inside Masjid an-Nabawi is an experience that words can hardly describe.

Thousands of worshippers gathered together, creating an atmosphere of unity, peace, and devotion.

Listening to the Khutbah inside the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ mosque reminded me of the importance of patience, sincerity, and remembering Allah in every stage of life.

It was one of the most spiritually uplifting moments of my Hajj journey.

Visiting Riyadul Jannah (Rawdah)

One of the greatest blessings of this day was receiving permission to enter Riyadul Jannah (Rawdah).

Known as one of the most beloved places inside Masjid an-Nabawi, Rawdah is described in authentic hadith as a garden from the gardens of Paradise.

Entering this sacred area filled my heart with emotion.

I offered voluntary prayers, made sincere dua for my family, friends, and all Muslims around the world, and thanked Allah for allowing me to experience such an unforgettable moment.

It was truly one of the highlights of my Hajj 2026 journey.

Leaving Rawdah with a Grateful Heart

After completing my prayers, I slowly exited Rawdah while reflecting on everything I had experienced.

Although many pilgrims were waiting for their turn, the atmosphere remained peaceful and respectful.

Leaving this blessed place reminded me that every moment in Madinah is a gift that should never be taken for granted.

An Unexpected Meeting with Family from Bangladesh

Allah often blesses us in ways we never expect.

After leaving the mosque, I unexpectedly met a relative from my village in Bangladesh.

Meeting someone from home in the holy city of Madinah made the day even more meaningful.

We spent some time together, enjoyed refreshing mango juice, shared memories from home, and made heartfelt dua for each other.

It was a beautiful reminder that Allah’s blessings come in many forms.

Reflections on One of the Best Days in Madinah

Looking back, this was undoubtedly one of the happiest and most memorable days of my pilgrimage.

From Tahajjud and Fajr prayers to the blessed Jumu’ah prayer, entering Riyadul Jannah, and reconnecting with family far from home, every moment strengthened my faith and reminded me why this journey is so special.

Madinah is more than a destination—it is a place where hearts find peace and souls draw closer to Allah.

Tips for Visiting Rawdah During Hajj

If you are planning to visit Madinah during Hajj or Umrah, here are a few helpful tips:

Apply for your Rawdah appointment through the Nusuk app before your visit.
Arrive early for your scheduled time.
Keep your phone on silent and respect mosque rules.
Be patient, as large crowds are common during Hajj season.
Spend your time making sincere dua rather than rushing.
Stay hydrated, especially during warmer months.
Always show kindness and patience toward fellow pilgrims.

Final Thoughts

This unforgettable day reminded me that Hajj is much more than a physical journey. It is a journey of faith, patience, gratitude, and personal transformation.

Every prayer inside Masjid an-Nabawi, every step toward Rawdah, and every heartfelt dua strengthened my connection with Allah.

I pray that Allah accepts the worship of every pilgrim and grants everyone the opportunity to visit the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.

Ameen.
